HD Foods was built upon two core values of our founder, she believes that – nothing brings people together like food, and food tastes better when shared.

Founded amid a pandemic, during a time when gatherings were not allowed, we wanted to bring a sense of comfort and nostalgia into your home through our products. Spicy foods release endorphins – the ‘feel-good’ hormone, making it one of the many reasons why we began our journey with a chilli oil.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

2020 has been catastrophic.

We’ve endured natural disasters, a global pandemic, an economic crisis, and we haven't even celebrated Halloween yet. Thanks to 2020, most people are less afraid of ghosts and more afraid of the idea of having to homeschool their kids.

For me, the last few months have been about reflecting, drinking, learning, Zoom-meetings, accepting, emotional eating, some more drinking and ditching all my dresses for non-active activewear. Despite all the chaos, the beauty that evolved was witnessing people's resilience and their ability to bloom in the face of adversity.

During this time, I began experimenting with making a spicy condiment to share with family and friends. What started as an attempt to beat lockdown hysteria flourished into a start-up idea. After a period of high demand, rave reviews, and googling "how to cool burning fingers", I decided to share my love child with everyone. I’ve cranked up the heat, so get ready to make permanent space in your pantry for my "BOMB ASS CHILLI OIL".

Bomb Ass Chilli Oil (aka BACO) — has a hint of wicked spice remixed with a bunch of aromatics and spices. Don't say I didn't warn you, but it is HIGHLY addictive.
